I just returned from the most unforgettable Italian adventure with my sister-in-law and niece (who just graduated high school!), and I’m still dreaming about every bite of pasta, every sip of wine, and every cobblestone street we wandered.
We kicked off our journey by flying from Houston to Venice, where we spent two magical nights surrounded by canals, gondolas, and the most breathtaking sunsets. From there, we caught a train to Florence, easily my favorite stop of the entire trip! The shopping and flea markets were such a highlight. I found some amazing treasures for my new home and, of course, couldn’t resist the Italian leather markets.
After soaking up Florence for three nights, we made our way to Rome by train. The energy, history, endless gelato, and espresso stops made it a whirlwind of wonder.
We ended our trip on the Amalfi Coast, with a private driver taking us to beautiful Positano. It was everything I imagined and more, cliffside views, lemon everything, and bliss. One of my favorite moments was a private yacht day cruising the coast and swimming in the open sea.
Pro tip: Positano is built into a cliff, so be ready for lots of stairs, but the views are absolutely worth every step.

The food was divine, the wine was perfection, and I lost count of how many gelatos I indulged in over the two weeks. Italy was the perfect girls’ trip! It was safe, stunning, and filled with memories I’ll treasure forever.
